Abstract

This year marks exactly 750 years since the Dubrovnik Statute was adopted. This legal collection, compiled in 1272, is distinguished not only by its antiquity, but primarily by the fact that it remained the basis of the legal order of the Dubrovnik community for over five hundred years.
